Christoph Hellings joined the Quantum Device Lab in November 2019 as a Postdoc and has been a Senior Assistant since September 2022. He obtained his PhD degree from TU Munich, where he worked on signal processing methods for wireless communication systems as well as on algorithms for nonconvex optimization. His research at the Quantum Device Lab includes signal processing aspects in superconducting circuits and the implementation of high-fidelity quantum logic gates as well as their application in quantum error correction and noisy intermediate-scale quantum algorithms.
