Dr. Simone Gasparinetti
Alumnus (former Postdoc)

joined our group in from July 2014 to September 2018. His research at the Quantum Device Lab focused on quantum geometric phases and interactions between artificial atoms and microwave photons. Simone had previously worked on Cooper-pair pumping, dissipation in driven quantum systems and electron thermometry in metallic and semiconducting nanostructures. He obtained his PhD degree at Aalto University, Finland and his MSc degree at University of Pisa and Scuola Normale Superiore, Italy. After leaving the Quantum Device Lab, Simone moved on to the Wallenberg Center for Quantum Technology at TU Chalmers.
