Adnan Kurtulus will join Superconducting Circuits team of the ETH Zurich - PSI Quantum Computing Hub in September 2026. At QuDev Lab, he will contribute to the development and RF characterization of high-density cryogenic interconnects for scalable quantum computing systems. He received his Ph.D. in Information Technology and Electrical Engineering from ETH Zurich, where he conducted his doctoral research in the team of Professor Jürg Leuthold in collaboration with CERN. He subsequently completed a postdoctoral appointment at CERN (2023–2026), where he was responsible for the RF design and electromagnetic optimization of accelerating structures for next-generation accelerator facilities. His expertise spans RF and microwave engineering, computational electromagnetics, high-frequency simulation and measurement techniques, and the electrical characterization of advanced materials.
