François Swiadek joined the Quantum Device Lab at ETH Zürich in September 2019 to pursue his PhD on superconducting qubit readout and quantum processor design. After defending his thesis in July 2025, he continued as a research engineer. Prior to this, he worked on cavity optomechanics at Thales Research and Technology, nanophotonic cavity QED in Lukin's group at Harvard University, and trapped-atom optical clocks at the Laboratoire Kastler Brossel (ENS Paris). In April 2026, he left the group to join QuantWare (https://quantware.com).
