Michael Kerschbaum completed his PhD at the Quantum Device Lab as part of the Quantum Computing team and the Superconducting Circuits team of the ETH Zurich - PSI Quantum Computing Hub. He previously carried out both a semester project and his master’s thesis in our group as part of the MSc ETH Physics programme. Following the successful defense of his PhD thesis in December 2025, he joined the AWS Center for Quantum Computing in Pasadena, California, where he continues his research on fault-tolerant quantum computing with superconducting circuits.
