Nathan Lacroix started as a PhD student in September 2020, with a focus on near term quantum algorithms and quantum software development. He previously conducted his master thesis in our group on the topic of variational quantum algorithms using a continuous gate set. After leaving our group, he joined Google Quantum AI (https://quantumai.google/) as a Quantum Error Correction Research Scientist.
