Kilian Hanke first joined the Quantum Device Lab in fall 2019 and conducted a semester project focused on RF PCB design as part of the ETH Zurich Physics Bachelor program. Since then he conducted one more semester project in our lab within the ETH Zurich Master program (MSc ETH Physics) , entitled “Qubit Characterization for Improving Fabrication Processes”. In addition he supported us in software development as a Research Assistant. In the Fall Semester 2022 he will rejoin our lab to conduct his master thesis entitled “Implementing a Quantum Convolutional Neural Network using arbitrary controlled phase gates”.
