Ekaterina Al-Tavil joined the Quantum Device Lab in November 2019 as a PhD student with focus on hybrid quantum systems combining semiconductor quantum dots with superconducting circuits. During her Master's she worked in the Quantum coherence lab with Nicolas Roch on Travelling wave parametric amplifiers made from superconducting circuits. Ekaterina obtained her Bachelor degree from the Polytechnical University of Saint Petersburg and her Master of science in Nanophysics from University of Grenoble Alpes.
