Anton Potočnik receives again a prize for his poster entitled "Noise Assisted Transport in a System of Three Coupled Qubits" at the Conference on Quantum Effects in Biological Systems (QuEBS 2017) in Jerusalem, Israel. Congratulations!
Physics teachers of the gymnasium Thun visited the Quantum Device Lab. Christopher Eichler gave a tour through the laboratory and provided insights into quantum information science and the experiments that we perform in the laboratory.

Anton Potočnik has been awarded the Best Poster Prize of the 635th WE-Heraeus-Seminar on Scalable Architectures for Quantum Simulation in Bad Honnef, Germany. The poster title is "Noise Assisted Transport in a System of Three Coupled Qubits". Congrats!

What sort of options do high-school students have for their future? How does work in basic research look like? What do scientists explore in the Quantum Device Lab at ETH Zurich? Teachers of the canton school Zurich Oberland (KZO) wanted to know.

Three quantum computing experts have been named to The Future of Computing council of the World Economic Forum (WEF). Andreas Wallraff, as well as Vlatko Vedral of the University of Oxford and Jeremy O'Brien of the University of Bristol have joined the 19 person council.
